1. Changing Gums

White signs are the early stages of bacterial infection on teeth that leads to decay. It normally starts when the hard enamel dissolves in response to the acid produced by the bacteria. During the initial stages, it is almost impossible to notice the same and hence regular check ups such as X-rays are important.

3. Increased Sensitivity

During advanced tooth decay, the decay progresses through the enamel and into the center of the tooth and reaches the nerves and blood vessels. During this stage, one will start experiencing increased sensitivity to hot and cold or certain foods. Once you observe these signs, it’s imperative to consult a dentist immediately.
