| If you live in the St. Louis area, we do accept consignment items (clothing items only) in our retail store. Please read the guidelines below and call us to make an appointment to bring your items. If you are not local, you can still send us your boutique items for resell. Shipping charges are solely the responsibility of the consignor. We do recommend calling us before sending in your items. Please contact us with any questions- hope to see you soon!
Avannabel Baby Consignment Policy (Resale Items) Guidelines: *Since we are an upscale boutique, we only accept high quality boutique and/or handmade items. We do not accept mass market or discount store clothing (Target, Old Navy, Gap, Gymboree, etc. is not accepted). We do accept custom clothing and monogrammed items. Items with monogramming must have a popular name/initial with a high chance of being resold. *Items need to be in like new condition without stains/holes and free of any unpleasant odor (we will not accept any item from a smoking household) *Consignors receive 40% of the retail price per item. If you opt for a store credit as your payment choice, you will receive 45% of the retail price. If the item was purchased new from our store, consignors receive 50%. (Add 5% if selecting a store credit as payment). We will determine the retail price of items brought to us. *Our consign period is 60 days. After 60 days, it is the responsibility of the consignor to pick up any unsold inventory within 7 days. Items remaining after this time period will be donated to a charity. *To open a consignor account, simply call us to make an appointment. Please bring items freshly washed/dry cleaned and neatly folded in a box or shopping bag (no garbage bags, please!). There is a $5 administrative fee upon opening an account with us payable upon drop off. Once you have an active account, you may bring in items at any time throughout the year. Within 7 days, you will receive an itemized list of accepted items with pricing. *After the 60 day consign period, we will contact you if items are unsold and need to be claimed. For all items sold, we will send a company check or store credit within 14 days. *While we take many precautions to ensure a safe and secure environment, we are not responsible for theft, loss or damage beyond our control. |
