Shipping Information Yes, it is true! Most orders will ship for free. Of course, there are a few restrictions, as with all good things. If your order comes directly from us (and most do!) such as birthday outfits, tutus, accessories, bloomers, etc., then shipping is complimentary. This will be noted in the product listing. All items that ship directly from the designer or vendor will be assessed a shipping charge. So if you buy a birthday dress and a birthday hat, you would be charged shipping on just the hat since it ships directly from our hat designer in a separate shipment. Our free shipping is via USPS priority or 1st class mail (depending on weight and urgency). All orders will include delivery confirmation so we can both be assured that your package did indeed arrive. Please keep in mind that USPS shipping does not include insurance and tracking is somewhat limited. However, we have found USPS to be reliable and expedient. You will have the option during checkout to upgrade your shipping method to Fed Ex. Standard Fed Ex rates will apply. We recommend Fed Ex for those who want the security of insurance (all packages are insured for $100) or have a deadline. Fed Ex shipping includes very detailed tracking and a delivery date. Most items will ship from our office located in St Louis, MO. USPS shipping is normally 2-5 days and Fed Ex Ground is 1-6 days, depending on distance from our location. Transit time is not guaranteed unless you have selected express mail. Please note that USPS overnight shipping sometimes requires 2 day transit if you live in a small city/rural area. Please select Fed Ex express shipping if this applies to you or contact us if you are unsure. Please select express shipping on any order needed within one week. We are not responsible for delivery transit times. It is the customer's responsibility to select the appropriate delivery method to ensure a timely arrival. Please be aware that delivery delays are more likely during inclement seasons and holidays. |
