We accept all major credit cards- visa, mastercard, american express or discover via our encrypted server. We also take payments via paypal. This is a secure way to pay via your checking account or debit/credit card without revealing your credit card number or financial information. You can sign up for a free account at www.paypal.com. Sign up is quick and easy and will allow you to instantly pay online. If you prefer to not pay online, we accept phone orders. Please call our toll-free number from 9am-6pm PST. Unfortunately, due to recent fraud, we can no longer accept money orders or personal checks. We recommend setting up a paypal account which can then be used to pay via your checking account.
What is your return policy? TOP
Your complete satisfaction is very important to us. We will be happy to offer a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase. All items returned to Avannabel Baby must be in the original condition- unused, unwashed and with all tags and packaging intact. We reserve the right to refuse any returns with the above conditions not met. The following items are non-returnable unless defective: final sale items (pricing ending with .99), skincare items, custom orders and personalized items. If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately. We cannot accept returns of damaged items after 30 days. Please use the Merchandise Return Form that is included with all shipments for returns. Refunds are issued within 24 hours of return items received. All exchanges are handled as returns, but please contact us as soon as possible so we may insure your desired item is in stock. We recommend insuring all return packages as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
How long does it take to receive my order? TOP
Most of our items will ship directly from our office location (Sacramento, California) within 2 business days. Please allow 2-3 weeks for monogrammed items. If you have ordered a birthday outfit, please allow up to 3 weeks before receiving shipping confirmation. We ship using Fed Ex Ground (1-5 business day delivery time) or USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery). Avannabel Baby cannot be responsible for delays caused by the carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed unless an express shipping method is chosen. Please see our map for exact transit times for your state. Some of our items ship directly from our manufacturer and cannot be shipped internationally. Please see product description for further information. In order to offer a variety of style/color options and special services such as monogramming, some of our products ship directly from the designer. If you have ordered several items, your order may arrive in two shipments. We will ship our in stock inventory immediately and provide an estimated shipping date from the designer. You will not be charged extra shipping fees for multiple shipments (if all items are from same order number). Please allow extra time for custom made items. You will receive an approximate delivery date with your order tracking email. If you need an item quickly, please contact us. We offer express overnight delivery for an additional charge.
How can I submit a new product for submission? TOP
We are always on the lookout for high quality innovative products. Are you a "mommy inventor"? Contact us with your product! Please include all pertinent information- pricing, product usage, contact info, etc. We request that you do not call our customer care number, as that is reserved for our customers. We regret that we cannot respond to all new product submissions. We will contact you if we feel your product is a good fit for our boutique. We look forward to your submissions!
What does out of stock mean? TOP
We strive to maintain in stock status of all our products with a variety of colors and sizes, when applicable. Sometimes, demand exceeds supply and a product will show an "out of stock" message. If you would like to order this product and your color or size option is not available, please contact us. Sometimes, we may be able to honor your request immediately by contacting our suppliers or we can let you know of an expected in stock date.
How much of my purchase is donated to charity? TOP
We give a monthly donation to both of our designated charities, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and St. Jude Research Hospital. Your purchases directly help these worthy organizations. Click on Our Charity for more information on the work they do and how our contribution assists their endeavors.
How do I use a coupon? TOP
If you received a discount coupon from us (% off coupons only), simply add the code to the coupon box on the bottom of our website and hit "go". You will see a "% off applied" above the product pages. The discount will be automatically deducted during checkout. If you have a $10.00 off coupon or gift certificate, please insert the code during checkout in the voucher text box. You may only use one coupon/discount per order. Do you want to receive coupons/discounts? Simply sign up for our newsletter. Our mailing list subscribers receive monthly coupons/promotions that are not available to the general public. If you are having difficulties applying coupon codes, please contact us. We will be happy to deduct your discount on your order.

We do not currently offer a printed catalog of our products. Please visit our sitemap to see a list of all our products.
When is my credit card charged? TOP
Per our merchant account, your credit card will be charged when you place your order. All items in stock (and not delivered directly from manufacturer) are shipped within 2 business days. If you feel uncomfortable having your credit card charged before shipping, please call us. We will be more than happy to take your billing information over the phone and charge your credit card when item(s) have shipped.
What countries do you ship to? TOP
We currently ship to only the following countries/regions: US, Canada, Australia, Japan, UK, and most of western Europe.
I received an error message during checkout- why? TOP
We take many security measures to ensure all orders are not fradulent. If you attempt to place an order and you receive a message that it cannot be processed- it may be due to either an incorrect billing address or credit card security code. The billing address of the credit card must match the credit card billing address on file. You must also have the 3 digit security code on the back (or front for American Express) to process your order. Another reason for error messages is the credit card you are using originates in another country. If you are trying to place an international order and receive an error message- please contact us for additional information.Please note: We do not ship to all international countries
Do you sell your items wholesale? TOP
Yes, we offer a limited selection for wholesale. In order to be approved, you MUST have a working website or storefront. We do not accept "under construction" or non-functioning websites. Currently, we are only accepting drop ship accounts. We will also need a copy of your resale certificate to keep on file. If you meet the above requirements, you can apply to be a wholesaler here.
I am unsure of what size to buy? TOP

Since most of our clothing items are personalized, it is very important to choose the right size. We cannot accept returns due to incorrect sizing. If you have any questions, please contact us so we can help you find the best fit.
We often hear: "My child weighs 20 pounds, what size should I get?" This is not a good way to determine size. The height/weight measurements are simply general guidelines and should not be solely used to determine sizing. It is most important to know your child's chest, inseam and length measurements. To obtain a chest measurement, meaure your child around the chest, under the arms and then add 1-2" for movement. To find the best length, measure (shoulder to hem) an item of clothing that you like where the hemline falls. We know how hard it can be to measure a wriggling toddler! If your child's measurements fall between sizes, we recommend going up a size. Most boutique clothing runs smaller than average. If your child's measurements do not fit within our size charts, let us know. Many clothing items can be customized to fit exactly.
